How Do I Adopt A Boxer?
Fill out the Adoption Application completely.

You will be contacted within a few days, to schedule an informal home visit. Home visits are required and done to verify your address and to give us a sense of where the dog may be living. We are also there to provide literature on the Boxer and to answer any additional questions you may have regarding adoption.  All family members must be present for the home visit.  As we are an all-volunteer group, please allow us a few days to contact you and schedule a meeting time.

If approved, you will be permitted to look at any available Boxers in our local three counties (Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade) or within the state of Florida.
If you adopt a Boxer, you will be required to sign a legally binding adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. All of the fee pays for vaccinations, rabies tag, certificate, and sterilization operation (spay/neuter).

IMPORTANT! We also help owners who can no longer keep their Boxers, find new loving homes. Be aware that if you are interested in an owner surrendered Boxer, in some cases it does not go into our foster program, and stays with it's family. A separate contract will be signed for dogs given up by their owners.

Follow-up visits, e-mails, or telephone calls are to be expected. These Boxers are very special to every volunteer in Boxer Friends, Inc. and we love to hear how the dogs are doing in their new families. We encourage you to join our email list:
