Zoey is a 14 month old girl who was recently rescued from the shelter. She is a petite Boxer, only weighing 35 pounds. Everything about her is small, except her personality! She warms up to new people very quickly and wants to become your new BFF.
While we don't know very much about her, she was in a run with a smaller female dog at the shelter and they were fine together.
Zoey is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She was diagnosed with colitis (tummy trouble) and is will do best on a high fiber diet.
If you'd like to know more about Zoey, please complete our online application and indicate if you'd like to offer her a permanent or temporary home.

ADOPTED!!!
Molly is a sweet, beautiful, wonderful little boxer. She is house trained, walks rather well on leash, and is quickly learning basic commands. Molly is happiest when in your lap getting loved on or curled up on the bed for a nap, but also enjoys playing with her squeaky toys and doing the kidney bean dance when she's excited. So far, Molly has shown herself quite trustworthy alone outside the kennel. If you are looking for lots of boxer love and wiggles, without an over abundance of boxer energy and mayhem, Molly is the girl for you!
Molly has been mistreated by other dogs before coming to Boxer Friends and would probably be happiest as an only pet.

BENTLEY IS IN NEED OF EITHER A NEW FOSTER HOME OR A PERMANENT HOME! THE RESIDENT DOG IN THE FOSTER HOME IS NOT TAKING WELL TO OTHER DOGS.
He had an ear infection when he was younger and because it was not treated, he is deaf. His ideal home will be one where he is an only pet and with someone who is willing to learn about living with a hearing-impaired pet.
There are many ways to communicate with him, and if you are interested in giving Bentley a new home, please complete our online adoption/foster application and a volunteer will be in contact with you soon.

HE'S IN NEED OF EITHER A NEW FOSTER HOME OR A PERMANENT HOME! THE RESIDENT DOG IN THE FOSTER HOME IS NOT TAKING WELL TO OTHER DOGS.
If you would like to help him, please complete our online application and a volunteer will contact you very soon.

Tank is an approximately 3 year old boxer boy. He is up to date on all vaccines and heartworm preventative and was neutered - and has the softest coat!
Tank loves everyone and has not shown any aggression with any dog his size or larger he has met. He has however shown a little too much interest in the kitties and smaller dogs so a home without cats and/or small dogs is ideal for him.
If you would like to make this great boy a part of your family please fill out our online adoption form and a volunteer will get back to you right away.

Due to a lack of foster homes, Boxer Friends has very few Boxers available. However, please check your local shelter. You can check online using Petharbor; enter your local zip code and search for "Found" and "Adoptable" Dogs. You can also check Petfinder.
Please note that we are NOT a source for puppies! The majority of our dogs come from local shelters, therefore we may not know anything about their prior life. All temperament descriptions come from our observations of interactions with people and other dogs, and are true to the best of our knowledge.
If we don't have very many Boxers, it's because we don't have very many foster homes! The number of Boxers we can help is directly related to the number of foster homes available. Please visit our Foster Care Information page to learn more and help us help the Boxers! If you apply for one of our dogs, there is a "comments" area where you can indicate your interest in fostering.
Effective May 05, 2007, we put in place the following Adoption fees. This rate structure helps us cover the increase in costs that we are incurring, primarily in our vet fees. Even at these increased rates we depend on contributions to help us meet our costs. Thanks for your understanding and continued support of the Boxer Rescue Program here in south Florida.
