Duchess is a 5 year old female owner surrender. She was given up by her owner because they are not home very much and she's alone for most of the time. She likes other dogs and children, but she has a tendency to chase cats so a home without them would be best. She weighs just over 50 pounds and is a bit thin and needs to gain some weight.
She is a very friendly Boxer who would love a new guardian to bond with!

Molly is a sweet, beautiful, wonderful little boxer. She is house trained, walks rather well on leash, and is quickly learning basic commands. Molly is happiest when in your lap getting loved on or curled up on the bed for a nap, but also enjoys playing with her squeaky toys and doing the kidney bean dance when she's excited. So far, Molly has shown herself quite trustworthy alone outside the kennel. If you are looking for lots of boxer love and wiggles, without an over abundance of boxer energy and mayhem, Molly is the girl for you!
Molly has been mistreated by other dogs before coming to Boxer Friends and would probably be happiest as an only pet.

Tank is an approximately 3 year old boxer boy. He is up to date on all vaccines and heartworm preventative and was neutered - and has the softest coat!
Tank loves everyone and has not shown any aggression with any dog he has met. He has however shown a little too much interest in the kitties.
If you would like to make this great boy a part of your family please fill out our online adoption form and a volunteer will get back to you right away.

Adoption Pending!!
Emma is new to our program. She is already spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is very timid around people and needs time to warm up to them. She was rescued from the streets.....she had been seen in a neighborhood for over a week during the recent cold snap and she survived the frigid temperatures. Her new home will be where she is an indoor dog and given lots of love and attention.
She is in a foster home now.

Due to a lack of foster homes, Boxer Friends has very few Boxers available. However, please check your local shelter. You can check online using Petharbor; enter your local zip code and search for "Found" and "Adoptable" Dogs. You can also check Petfinder.
Please note that we are NOT a source for puppies! The majority of our dogs come from local shelters, therefore we may not know anything about their prior life. All temperament descriptions come from our observations of interactions with people and other dogs, and are true to the best of our knowledge.
If we don't have very many Boxers, it's because we don't have very many foster homes! The number of Boxers we can help is directly related to the number of foster homes available. Please visit our Foster Care Information page to learn more and help us help the Boxers! If you apply for one of our dogs, there is a "comments" area where you can indicate your interest in fostering.
Effective May 05, 2007, we put in place the following Adoption fees. This rate structure helps us cover the increase in costs that we are incurring, primarily in our vet fees. Even at these increased rates we depend on contributions to help us meet our costs. Thanks for your understanding and continued support of the Boxer Rescue Program here in south Florida.
