ADOPTED!!!
Hi, I’m Tyson and I'm currently being boarded at a vet's office. I can't stay here forever and am looking for a new foster home or a permanent home.
The girls at Boxer Friends have been really great because they saved me. I was really hoping someone would save me from that kennel and they did! I was pretty sick for a while and needed to fatten up, but take a look at me now. Aren’t I beautiful?
I’m a good boy too! I know how to sit when you ask and I will shake your hand. I like to be close to my people and love it when they play with me. Tug of war is fun and I especially like those squeaky stuffed animals, especially my froggy! My foster dad and the children throw it and I run really fast to get it. They let me squeak froggy a few times before I give it back for another throw. It’s so much fun! I play well with children and cats are ok too (but I should be an only dog because it takes me a while to warm up to another dog and be friendly with them). When I am tired or my people don’t feel like playing, I will lay nearby and nap. Sometimes I nap in my crate.
It has been nice to have a foster home until I got better, but I’m feeling so good now. I’m ready for a forever home where I can snuggle and play with my own special family. Why not come meet me and see if we can be special friends?
He is in need of a foster or forever home! If you would like to help Tyson and give him either a temporary (foster) home or a permanent home, please complete our online adoption application.

Sam is a male approximately 3-4 years old. He was rescued by another local group and we are helping them find him a home. If you'd like to know more about him, please contact Robbie with Sabbath Memorial Rescue at 305-799-1567.
Sam is a loveable boy and a very good pup.

Due to a lack of foster homes, Boxer Friends has very few Boxers available. However, please check your local shelter. You can check online using Petharbor; enter your local zip code and search for "Found" and "Adoptable" Dogs. You can also check Petfinder.
Please note that we are NOT a source for puppies! The majority of our dogs come from local shelters, therefore we may not know anything about their prior life. All temperament descriptions come from our observations of interactions with people and other dogs, and are true to the best of our knowledge.
If we don't have very many Boxers, it's because we don't have very many foster homes! The number of Boxers we can help is directly related to the number of foster homes available. Please visit our Foster Care Information page to learn more and help us help the Boxers! If you apply for one of our dogs, there is a "comments" area where you can indicate your interest in fostering.
Effective May 05, 2007, we put in place the following Adoption fees. This rate structure helps us cover the increase in costs that we are incurring, primarily in our vet fees. Even at these increased rates we depend on contributions to help us meet our costs. Thanks for your understanding and continued support of the Boxer Rescue Program here in south Florida.
