Happy Endings
This page is for all the Boxers (and, ocassionally, other breeds) who were lucky enough to get wonderful homes and a new leash on life!
Zelda now has a new family to love, and who love her. When Zelda arrived at her new home, they had a bag full of new toys for her to play with!
Dekota has settled into her new home wonderfully! She is so happy to be in a place where she is loved and wanted, and she returns the love 110%!
Grundy (on the left) is so happy in his new home! He has a really fun fur-sister who keeps him in shape. She is so happy to have a playmate, too. It's almost amazing that the two of them sat still long enough for their picture to be taken!
Frasier went to his new home and he is just so happy! He gets along great with his new Boxer brother and sister, and even the resident cat. When his new mom stopped for gas on the way home, he was ready to keep on truckin'!!
Tootsie just loves her new family and her new home. She is treated like a little princess and she returns the love 110%!
Mabel (on the right) is so happy with her new family! She has a Boxer sister to play with, and they get along like two peas in a pod!
Spike (on right) was rescued from a shelter as a puppy. Many people have never seen a Boxer with this coloring before. He is one handsome dude, and he just loves his new Boxer sister, Angel (on the left)! The entire family has a great time with their Boxers (and cat)!
Zena is a super-cute white Boxer girl who is doing great in her new home! She sure has gained some much-needed weight since she was rescued. Zena has been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) and with the help of medication, a special diet and a loving family, she is leading a happy, healthy life!
This is Zena when she was first rescued.
Spirit came into our program in January '03 with a pretty severe case of Demodex mange. She's recovered nicely, and she just loves her new family (and all the toys)! This photo was taken on 4/16/03.
Spirit on 1/24/03.
Roxie was found on the side of I-95 after being hit by a car. She is one lucky girl to have survived! She didn't have any broken bones, but did have soft tissue injuries.
After she was found, she was diagnosed with Demodex mange, which usually occurs when a dog is stressed, and being hit by a car on I-95 is plenty stressful.
Roxie found her new family, and has her Boxer brother Max to keep her company. Max was also adopted from Boxer Friends, and is so happy he has a new fur sister to play with! The entire family just loves their new addition!
Harley (on right) just loves his new home, and he has a great time playing with his Boxer brother and sister!
Bailey (on right) has grown into a big, beautiful Boxer girl! She loves her Boxer brother Sarge, and they have lots of fun in their home.
Bruno has settled in nicely in his new home. He especially likes to hang out by the pool!
China recently celebrated her first birthday with her very own yummy cake (which she graciously shared with her two boxer sisters and her foster boxer sister). She brings much joy and laughter to her family!
Maxx really loves his new home. He's a big goofball and he likes to play on the back patio with his Boxer sister.
Austin the Lab is having a lot of fun in his new home. He loves his new family and they love him!
Duncan is a true gentle giant. He gets along great with his new fur sister and the resident cat. His family loves him and say he is the perfect dog for them!
Here is an updated picture of Duncan, with his fur sister Lulu. He's really filled out nicely!!
Boone came to us with a bad case of demodex mange. After vet care and some TLC from his foster (and now forever) home, he sure became one handsome Boxer. His family says that Boone is a wonderful companion and they just love him! This photo was taken on 2/1/02.
This photo of Boone was taken on 9/15/01, the first day he came into our program.
Bella and Peanut are two rescued Boxers who are living the good life now! They love to lounge by the pool, and keep watch over their neighborhood. Their new family reports that they are both wonderful companions and play all day long together.
Max just absolutely loves his new family! He has a new playmate (and she is a little angel!) that he watches over and adores. They play all afternoon after school, and the neighbors come outside to say "hello" when he is going for a walk. He just loves all the attention!
Tazz is being such a good boy in his new home. He gets along great with the Dalmation and the cat. He is eager to learn, and will be starting his training classes soon. He loves to wrestle with the Dalmation and run laps through the yard!
Here is another picture of Tazz with his Dalmation sister!
Moe the Dachshund is very happy with his new family! He shares his home with another dog, and they keep each other company. Way to go, Moe!
Knuckles (on the bottom) really enjoys playing with his fur-brother Diesel! These two rescued Boxers have truly bonded since they both moved in in July '01. Who needs championship wrestling when these two are in the house?!
Harley is very happy in his new home, which he shares with another Boxer. He was adopted in July '01, and fits in just perfectly!
Atlas and Kramer went to their great home in July '01. Their new family reports that they don't know who is having more fun.....the Boxers or them!!
Lilly is a Boxer mix who found her new home in June '01. She loves to go for long walks and then cool off inside her new home.
Balboa is so happy with his new home, and his mom and dad just adore him!
Sophia was adopted by her new family in April. She obviously loves her new home because she looks so happy and healthy! This photo was taken on 7/28/01. The photo below is Sophia on February 10, 2001. She's come a long way and we are so glad that we were able to help this special girl!
Sophia on 2/10/01. We have never seen a dog so malnourished before. Even the vet was awed with her will to live! Many tears were shed on this day over her condition, and her recovery was nothing short of miraculous. She definitely had angels watching over her!
